Kommentar: Här finns det ändå något att bygga på. Orlando och Foreman kan uträtta bra saker (hört mycket bra om Orlando och framför allt så älskar jag Foremans arbete på Animal Man) och historien verkar ha potential (även om jag tycker att det för tillfället är lite överflöd ”gladiatorsspel” i fiktionen). Viss tillförsikt på denna.

Kommentar: Morrison är ju en legend, men tycker personligen att han kan vara lite hit-or-miss. För mig är han bäst när han får leka med sina egna leksaker och jag känner mig lite mer restriktiv när han ska ge sig på någon av de två storas (DC och Marvels) karaktärer. Däremot är hans toppar svåra att matcha och med Liam Sharp vid sin sida, som visat vart skåpet ska stå under sin vända på Greg Ruckas Wonder Woman, kan det här möta upp till de förväntningar som de flesta (mig då exkluderad) känner när de hör Morrisons namn. Att jag aldrig läst någon Green Lantern-serie kan påverka åt vilket håll som helst beroende på vilken väg den gode Grant väljer att ta (har själv en lite krystad relation till Morrisons Batman-epos som dyker väldigt djupt i titelkaraktären och tidningens historia).

Kommentar: Känner allmänt ett motstånd när det står saker som ”deras värld kommer aldrig bli densamma!!!!!!!”. Det är så uttjatat och stämmer väldigt sällan med superhjältar där det krävs något oerhört extraordinärt för att rubba på deras status quo, som ändå vrids tillbaka inom några år om en författare lyckats med det. Denna titel låter väldigt standard för X-Men.

Kommentar: Låter helt klart spännande, men som ni kommer märka framöver är jag väldigt mycket för att göra saker i en speciell ordning (vilket gör att mitt allmänna intresse för superhjältar är ganska ljummet) och detta gör att jag känner att Tom King och Gabriel Hernandez Waltas Vision bör läsas innan denna. På beskrivningen av Cain, Mohan och Kochs serie känns den som en uppföljare i första hand, men absolut något att hålla ett öga på.

Kommentar: Ingen särskilt originell handling, men kan likväl bli spännande och känns som den ligger rätt i tiden. Kreatörsteamet höjer intresset också med en stark veteran i Fernandez och en lite nyare röst i Hill, som jag inte hunnit läsa än men Warren Ellis satte honom på att skriva första spin-offen av The Wild Storm så det är ju ändå lite kvalitetsmarkering.

Detta är dessutom AfterShocks första försök på en Original Graphic Novel och med Talajic är det ännu mer spännande.
