Även om jag tycker det blir lite konstigt när Killmonger förvandlas så mycket till filmversionen av karaktären (inte att jag har någon gigantisk kunskap om karaktären förutom att filmversion och serieversionen skiljer sig från varandra en del). Med Ferreyra med ansvar för bilderna kommer serien säkerligen se fantastisk ut och det känns som Marvel satsar här för stöpa om karaktären efter filmens framgång med ett klart kompetent kreatörsteam.

Kommentar: Här finns ändå ett intresse, men personligen hänger jag upp mig en hel del på vad som har hänt tidigare. Detta är förståss ett problem när en läser Marvel och DC. Här gäller det att jag skulle vilja läsa Dan Slotts Spider-Man innan jag ens kan tänka på denna. Jag kan däremot säga till den som har läst Slott eller inte delar mitt problem att jag rekommenderar verkligen Gage som författare. Han är förmodligen den enskilt bästa saken med Buffy The Vampire Slayer hos Dark Horse under de senaste åren. Han förstod åtminstone de karaktärerna oerhört väl och samtidigt utmanade dem på ett sätt som gav serierna nytt liv.

Kommentar: Här startar en ny story som heter Age Of Republic som även nedanstående tidning är med i. Mer tidningar kommer läggas till i de efterföljande månaderna. Förutom att Jody Houser känns intressant kan jag inte gilla detta. Alldeles för många år har gått åt att försöka förtränga Episod 1-3 av filmerna och att lägga en serie i tidsepoken för den sämsta av dem kan jag inte ens förstå ur ett försäljningsperspektiv.

Här får vi ju även till slut en återkomst till B.P.R.D.: Vampire av tvillingduon Bá och Moon. Förhoppningsvis är detta en hint om att de är på väg att fortsätta den berättelsen som har stått still sen de avslutade Vampire 2013.

Kommentar: Detta kan mycket väl vara något riktigt bra från Karen Bergers egna etikett hos Dark Horse och det mesta verkar bra (särskilt Okorafors inblandning). Jag har dock lite dålig känsla för tecknaren Ford. Det ska dock sägas att då går jag enbart på omslaget som jag ogillar. Någon som faktiskt har läst något av henne kan gärna säga emot mig!

Kommentar: Av någon anledning blir jag alltid off-put när något av Image etiketter är inblandad (här alltså Robert Kirkmans Skybound). Det får mig helt enkelt att tro att de ska vara ”edgy” på ett sånt där jobbigt 90-talssätt. Handlingarna och utseende brukar bidra till detta och så även här.
